Project description:
The project involved the construction of a photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption at the Azomureș site. The main objective was to increase energy production from renewable sources and to continue decarbonization efforts. The investment was financed through the Modernization Fund, contributing to the achievement of the objectives set out in the National Integrated Plan for Energy and Climate Change.
- The main challenge was to structure an investment for industrial self-consumption in line with the company’s decarbonization goals and the specific requirements of the financing mechanism. It was essential to align the scale of the investment with the platform’s consumption profile, substantiate the impact on emissions reduction, and support the project’s eligibility with robust technical and financial documentation.
