Strategic Project for Green Hydrogen Production

Contributing to the decarbonization of the energy system and the achievement of European climate goals

Project description:

The project aims to establish, by December 31, 2025, a 10 MW capacity for the production of green hydrogen using electrolysis facilities in Onești, Bacău County.

  • The initiative is part of the effort to decarbonize the energy system, both at the national level and at the European Union level, contributing to the achievement of the climate goals set for 2030 and to the implementation of the long-term strategy for carbon neutrality by 2050.

    The main challenges involved substantiating the investment’s eligibility, aligning the supporting documentation with the program’s objectives, planning procurements, and meeting the agreed-upon implementation deadlines, in accordance with national and European decarbonization requirements.

Services offered:

  • Expert assistance from the submission of the funding application through to the beneficiary’s receipt of the project approval notification;

  • Preparation of the eligibility report;

  • Development of the funding application, including the identification and definition of project activities, cost-benefit analysis, risk management plan, identification and planning of necessary procurements, presentation of the management team, and preparation of supporting documents;

  • Assistance in organizing public procurement procedures in accordance with applicable law and the requirements of the grant agreement;

 

  • Assistance in preparing technical and financial reports—interim and final—for submission to the Managing Authority;

  • Assistance in preparing reimbursement/payment requests and the related supporting documentation;

  • Assistance during on-site visits by representatives of the Managing Authority;

  • Assistance during the project monitoring phase.
