Project description:
Implementation of a smart electricity metering system for 10,558 residential and small non-residential customers in a homogeneous area of Suceava, with the aim of reducing average household energy consumption. The project aims to:
- connecting 10,558 users to smart energy grids by installing and integrating 10,558 smart meters into the grid;
improving the quality of the electricity distribution services provided by DELGAZ GRID S.A. through the implementation of an advanced distribution management system (ADMS);
the implementation of a smart metering system that will provide the necessary infrastructure for more efficient management of electricity consumption in households within the target area;
contribution to achieving the POIM indicator regarding the reduction in individual energy consumption per household, with an estimated impact of 0.02% at the homogeneous zone level;
the rehabilitation of the low-voltage distribution network, by replacing 16,504.72 linear meters of cable in the homogeneous zone, 8,429.58 linear meters of conductors and cable in the buffer zone, as well as 553 E-type boxes, 776 FDCPs, 380 BMPMs, and 62 BMPTs;
reducing the average annual energy consumption from 1,045 MWh per household in 2023 to 1,015 MWh per household in 2027, over the project’s lifespan.
