Improving energy efficiency in production processes at Fiterman Pharma SRL.

Project description:

The project aimed to replace nine pieces of production equipment with state-of-the-art models and to implement an energy management system (EMS) at Fiterman Pharma SRL. The main objective was to increase energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption and GHG emissions. The investment was funded through the PNRR – Measure I5: Ensuring energy efficiency in the industrial sector.

  • The main challenge was to accurately estimate the energy savings resulting from the replacement of equipment. This required a detailed analysis of current consumption through an energy audit and the modeling of future consumption based on technical specifications and operational data provided by the beneficiary.
