Investments in leisure and tourism to enhance the appeal of the Gura Humorului resort and diversify the experience offered to visitors.
Project description:
Improving local tourism infrastructure by:
- the development of a 1,478-meter-long ski slope in the Ariniş area of Gura Humorului, equipped with a chairlift and a snowmaking system;
rehabilitation and reinforcement of the access road to the ski slope, bank protection works, and construction of a parking lot;
construction of utilities for the ski slope (water supply, electricity, sewerage, and a small wastewater treatment plant);
the renovation and modernization of the “Lunca Moldovei” park in the Ariniș area, including the construction of: 3 sports fields; an outdoor swimming pool; a children’s pool; a recreational area for tourists; an outdoor ice rink; and the establishment of a tourist information center in the Ariniș area.
