Development of Rompetrol’s alternative fuel infrastructure on the A1 highway at the Romania–Hungary border.
Project description:
Rompetrol plans to expand its alternative fuel network by installing a fast-charging station (24 charging points) with a power output of 300 kW and the capability for simultaneous 150 kW DC charging at 12 gas stations located along the A1 highway toward the Romanian-Hungarian border. A grid connection with a minimum power capacity of 600 kVA is required.
- The overall objective of this project is to promote the use of electric vehicles in Eastern Europe by establishing basic infrastructure along Romania’s A1 highway and to make a significant contribution to the implementation of the European strategy on alternative fuels.
