Project description:
The project involved the construction of a photovoltaic power plant installed on the roof of the Rondocarton S.R.L. factory, intended for industrial self-consumption. The main objective was to increase energy production from renewable sources for the company’s own consumption and to continue decarbonization efforts. The investment was financed through the Modernization Fund – Key Program 1: Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Storage, contributing to the achievement of the objectives set out in the 2021–2030 National Integrated Plan for Energy and Climate Change. Support for Rondocarton in a project to install a rooftop photovoltaic power plant at the factory, for self-consumption and decarbonization.
- The main challenge was managing a combination of external risks beyond the beneficiary’s control. It was necessary to rigorously document each situation—technical changes mandated by notices, delays by the grid operator in issuing connection documents, and delays in equipment delivery—and correlate them with the execution schedule to demonstrate that the delays were objectively justified and not attributable to the beneficiary.
