Project description:
The project aimed to develop a solar power plant in the town of Șendreni, with the goal of increasing electricity generation capacity from renewable sources and supporting the transition to a cleaner and more efficient energy system.
The investment contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing the share of renewable energy in the national energy mix, and is being implemented through the PNRR program – Investment I.1: New electricity generation capacity from renewable sources.
- The main challenge was managing multiple external risks simultaneously—risks beyond the beneficiary’s control—that affected the implementation schedule. These included the lack of a response from the managing authority to the request for an extension, technical modifications required by notices, delays by the network operator in issuing connection documents, as well as delays in the delivery of equipment.
Each situation was rigorously documented and cross-referenced with the agreed-upon implementation schedule to demonstrate that the delays were objectively justified and not attributable to the beneficiary, in accordance with the PNRR contractual requirements.
